Swedish fashion cheapsters H&M teamed up with a bunch of international artists, designers and musicians to launch a “Fashion Against Aids” line to raise the awareness about HIV:

The artists taking part in “Fashion Against AIDS” are Rihanna, Chicks on Speed, Good Charlotte, Henrik Vibskov, Jade Jagger, Justice, Katharine Hamnett, My Chemical Romance, Rufus Wainwright, Scissor Sisters, The Cardigans, Tiga, Timbaland and Ziggy Marley.

Ziggy Marley – I hope that means that some of the money (25% of the proceeds of the collection will go to prevention projects) will arrive in Jamaica, too.

And even though this is for a really good cause and anything raising dough for it is fine, I wish Ziggy had done some more innovative stuff than just writing some words in red-green-and-yellow using a stencil font …

(I wonder why they didn´t use the original design from the shirt he´s actually wearing on the picture for the collection. That looks pretty alrite – in grayscale at least. But maybe they gonna use it for the male shirts only … We´ll see when the stuff drops in February.)
