It´s Tuesday, June 16th. That means it´s Major Lazer day. Their album “Guns Don´t Kill People, Lazers Do” is out, bad, and available in the US via Turntablelab, Amazon and iTunes, of course. Other Lazer products in stores are a rather hype iPhone app called iDrum which allows you to “instantly remix elements of the new album by dancefloor innovators Diplo and Switch” and a rather weak collabo-shirt w/ Obey (no disrespect but it just can´t compete at all with the dope shirt that comes with the pre-ordered album).

What else? Well, A1 Bassline has a new Radio 1 mixtape out called “Rob Da Bank“, SoulForce put up their dope Keith & Tex feat. Shabba “Dukku Dukku RMX” for free download, and Jamaica has GPS now. While that “cannot find a specific address”, it should make it easier for tourist to go “to the plantation”, “to the waterfalls”, or “to Bob Marley museum” without ending up shot on Spanish Town Road or robbed in a Montego Bay crafts market.
