German TV station arte will show a documentary about Kingston and its music culture on February 23rd, 2009, at midnight.

Jamaica is where Ska, Reggae and the Rastafarian movement where born. People like Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Shaggy and Sly and Robbie had a large impact on a rich, ingenious and rebellious musicial culture which made its way from Kingston to all over the world.

Kingston is one of five cities – the others are Berlin, Paris, Liverpool & New York – which are portrayed in the series called “Rock & The City” (via StyleSpion via roitsch).
