Reggae Summer 2009

On August 14th, 15th and 16th, one of Germany´s biggest festivals for reggae, dancehall and dub music is celebrating its 15th anniversary: Chiemsee Reggae Summer 2009 features Jamaican artists like Busy Signal, Turbulence, T.O.K., Fantan Mojah and Junior Kelly as well as German big names like Peter Fox and Jan Delay. In addition, the “Open Decks” area will offer upcoming sound systems from Southern Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Peru and the Czech Republic the chance to showcase their record boxes in front of an impressive Bavarian alp scenario.

P.S. Also, the Beck´s beer at the venue is only 1 EUR – so you´ll probably going to have a good time there no matter how bad, boring or butu the weather, the performances or some of the fellow festival visitors might be.
