History Lesson

This is a little music history lesson brought to you by Cassidey – the inofficial third member of the seen.-team and the official back-up MC of the sound now known as Decent Disco.

He sent me three Youtube-links today. #1: the actual music video to Mos Def´s “Ms. Fat Booty”, #2: The recording of Aretha Franklin´s “One Step Ahead” which was sampled by Mos Def for that tune and #3: the Gregory Isaacs-song Mos cites towards the end of “Ms. Fat Bootie”. Sit back and enjoy.
