Here’s some kick starters for your weekend:

Woofah Magazine Issue 4 is out!
After having been in production for almost a year (!), Woofah mag number 4 is back. 92 (!) pages strong, the

independently produced fanzine covering dancehall / grime / dubstep / dub / bashment / roots / and all points in between

features stories on e.g. the Sci-Fi and Reggae, Newham Generals, YT, and The Last Days of Studio One. Grab your personal copy over at the Woofah site but grab it quick – #4 is limited to 1,000 copies. (via Dancecrasher)

Silverhawk Sound is Back in Business
Clevie relaunched legendary Silverhawk Sound in Kingston last night, fulfilling a wish his partner Steelie (R.I.P.) expressed before passing away last year. FIRST Magazine dug out an 80-minute Silverhawk dubplate mix which strictly features Shabba and Ninjaman to celebreate the rebirth. Grab it here.

Major Lazer releases Instrumental Pack
Good news for all MCs, deeejays and producers out there: Bootlegumachine is friends with Wes and they decided to share the instrumentals of the Major Lazer album! Find it here.
